Introducing Every Home for Christ
EHC is a global evangelism ministry that makes every effort to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every home on Earth.
When possible, we tell people about the Good News, and always distribute effective gospel literature to every home. This gives people the opportunity to reflect on the message of salvation in Christ and to respond and receive follow-up.
The ministry of EHC started in Canada in 1946. In the past 70 years, it has had a remarkable impact around the world as many thousands of believers pray daily for people to receive a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
● 1.9 billion homes have been visited in over 216 countries and territories
● 183 million people have written to express their desire to follow Christ
● 312,357 Christ Groups (house church fellowships) have been established to provide discipleship training for new believers
In 2015, the number of volunteers assisting EHC’s ministry worldwide rose to a monthly average of 68,180 persons. During the year, a total of 169,735 leaders received live on-site training through EHC in evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
Every Home for Christ is a non-profit organization and able to issue charitable receipts for income tax purposes. EHC is a member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC).
Prayer offered in French Africa
In French Africa, animism and Islam are two factors hindering the spread of the Gospel.
Some EHC pioneer workers have been beaten and their motorbikes or bicycles badly damaged, but they return to minister in the same villages.
When they approach a home, they usually introduce themselves by saying, “Is there anybody in this house who needs free prayer for any need, sickness or family problem?”
This question has allowed workers to penetrate difficult areas with the love and light of Jesus Christ.
